Copy Editing Wk 8
The final week of my online copy editing class was light on content. The discussions and reading materials focused on dealing with some of the personalities in the news room.
The main focus was on the final exam. First, there was a quiz (which wasn't too bad). And then the big bad test itself - we were given three stories to edit for grammar, spelling, facts, style, etc. We also had to add headlines.
I don't have an estimation of how many hours I put into the final exam but it was frustrating. Mostly, I'm just glad it's all over.
