Congratulations, Mike!
Yesterday, Mike graduated from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business with his MBA. After 20 long hard months of the weekend executive program (WEMBA), the commencement ceremony yesterday was really nice.
Mike's aunt Brenda, from Florida. drove up on Thursday to spend the weekend with us.
Friday night, there was a pre-graduation party at the Washington Duke hotel. It was a lot of fun to see Mike's classmates and meet some of their family members. Mike's dad arrived at the airport from Elmira late that night.
Saturday, commencement was at 2pm and followed by a reception back at the Fuqua school until 5pm.
Brenda left for home today and his dad leaves tomorrow morning. Then, we're on our own. No readings, no conference calls, no team projects. Whatever shall we do?
I can't get out of the world. I didn't pull the kind of math grades you need to qualify for the space program. -Eddie, "Keen Eddie"
