Cruise Day 4: Sea Day

We slept in a bit on day 4 because there was no port to explore. We had breakfast in the dining room, which was a nice change of pace. Afterwards, we went to a cooking demonstration by the head chef. He made an amazing salmon dish that we're excited to try out at home.

We wandered around a bit and spent a little time relaxing in our room before lunch. We ate at Johnny Rockets which has a $4 additional cover charge but then the food (except for milkshakes) is all free. We had delicious burgers and fries and onion rings and split a sundae for dessert. Much better than the Windjammer!

After lunch, we decided to get some exercise. We both went to the gym and then Mike ran a couple of laps around the ship. Mike did some shopping while I took a nap and then we met David & Amy for a pre-dinner show. It was "Dancing through the Movies" and reminded me a lot of the show choir I had been a member of back in high school. Afterwards, the cruise activity director came on stage with various staff members and they had a cheesy farewell song, just like at Kellerman's on Dirty Dancing!

Our final dinner was good once again. It was "International Night".

Appetizer: We tried the hummus and the onion soup, which were both good.

Entree: I ordered roast turkey. I can't remember what Mike ordered.

Dessert: I can't remember what we ordered for dessert and the site I found the menu on didn't list the final desserts.

After dinner, we went back to the room to change/pack and then sorted through all of our photos (that was a quick $80!) before meeting up for karaoke. Only we couldn't find the karaoke (turns out we were too late). Instead, Mike and I ran into the Quest game which is a crazy scavenger hunt type of game. It looked like a lot of fun so we watched for awhile.

We ended the evening in Boleros again watching a jazz band. We didn't stay up quite as late on the last night because we knew we had to get up early to get off the ship the next morning.
