Why is it SO hard for me to run outside this time around? Weather conditions have been great but I just can't seem to do it! My overall time ends up ok usually so I must be running too fast. No idea. The trip to the gym on Thursday is the only 3 miles I've run without stopping since the previous Monday.
This week, 3 runs and 3 abs. I'm also putting myself back on South Beach Diet. Goal for phase 1: 5.4 lbs by 4/30. That shouldn't be a problem at all.

you could also try not stopping. or, if you feel that a rest is needed, put it after the 10 min mark, stretch, then START the run. (so the first 10 min...well...don't count).
with two days back to back, one run should be much harder than the other--or try to put in two hard days in a row, rest and then do a light day. 1.95 and 2 miles are the same practically speaking so you could try a 4mile next to a 2.25 mile run and see how that feels.
not sure if you're doing any weight lifting but lifting weights can actually help reduce your weight and increase your running stamina. just depends on whether you're hoping to run a marathon, in which case you should talk to a personal trainer about how to incorporate weights with a running schedule...
good luck with reaching your goals.
