NYR: Week #17
Last week:
- Monday: gym - ran 1 mile, then elliptical
- Tuesday: elliptical for 30 minutes
- Wednesday: abs at home
- Thursday: ran at Apex Lake, 2.0 mi in approx 23 min (stops)
- Friday: abs at home
- Saturday: bike at home for 40 min
- Sunday: none
A rough week for exercise as I've now completed 7 days on South Beach Diet phase 1. The lack of carbs really drains me so my energy levels are very low. After this week, that should improve. My weight loss after one week was 4.2 lbs.
This week, 3 sessions of cardio and 3 abs. I'm very close to my initial phase 1 goal so anything additional is icing on the cake. Only without the icing. Or the cake. :)






My energy levels have been low too, since I also decided to completely cut soda (Coke Zero is my "coffee"). that meant completely eliminating anywhere from 24-32 oz of Coke Zero every day.
Yesterday i decided to start drinking a couple cups of green tea each day, which I guess puts some caffeine back in my diet, but green tea is a carb blocker allegedly, and has many other health benefits.
Damn it's nasty though!
