Feeling Glum

Mike has been sick since Friday with some kind of nose/throat thing and I finally came down with it yesterday. Thanks for sharing! We're both home sick from work today, doing a lot of sleeping and drinking tea. I felt pretty good for about 45 minutes but that seems to have passed.

I thought I might do some reading or some blogging but both seem like a lot of effort when your head is threatening to explode at any moment. Also, all of the things I'm inspired to blog about are the kinds of things I don't often get into here. Sure, they'd liven the place up. But I don't have the energy to deal with the fallout it could possibly cause.

So, I think I'll go find my slanket and curl up in front of the television. With any luck, I'll drift off to sleep in front of some Olympic diving and wake up in time for my next dose of Sudafed.
